Texas

From large, public universities to small Catholic colleges, Texas offers a wide range of higher education institutions with campuses in rural or metropolitan settings, providing both offline and online programs. Showing the importance of education in the state, Texas House Bill 588 allows all students graduating in the top 10 percent of their high school class to gain admission to any state-funded university.

With over 29 million residents, Texas is the second most populated state in the nation, and more people are moving to Texas than any other state, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Home to over 167 colleges, the state offers both educational and job opportunities, and the cost of living is also comparatively low.
